Transition will be a drastic solution. Anyone without internet services for their home will be provided with a BPL (Broadband over Power Line) modem, or connection with fiber. If the subscriber does not wish to have internet services, they will still receive the BPL modem, but the modem will be for television only. The subscriber will need a smart TV, and they may already have one, but not use the advanced features. They will need to download the TV App for Kaldus, and select their provider. If they do not have a provider because they were using OTA channels only, then they will select Ka-Tel as the provider. They will likely resist, but the TV signals will shut down on December 31 next year. This will give all subscribers time to make changes, and select resources that would be ideal for them, and their situation.
